The grass isn't always greener on the other side. The pieces were here for any player to succeed with our coaching staff and some of our best players opted to leave.

It will be interesting should USCw lose to ND next week. Redd bails on his teammates to go to Los Angeles to win a Pac-10 title and a national title. Not only does he fail to win either, his coach that he bought into, might get canned. I think Kiffen is gone if they lose. Major disappointment coupled with the "other" stuff that has gone on.

I have no insight into the situation and only an opinion that doesn't matter, but my opinion is that Silas Redd does not care that he had only three carries yesterday or did not play the week for before because of an undisclosed injury. His eyes are on the big prize right now (the NFL) and not the well-being of his team and he's just looking to escape this season uninjured so his draft value will be the highest it can be.
