I'm willing to listen to anyone's opinion even if I don't agree with it. I would never tell someone to not post their opinion. It's just close minded.

    Then stop telling me how to think. It's sad that you really can't see how hypocritical your entire argument is.

    You can't have it both ways, either everything's okay or none of it is. If spulv has your support in saying what he wants just because he wants to say it...then award the rest of us the same privilege and don't tell us how to post.

  • The OP is a valid point. It comes from a poster that is basically negative. Sneaky and Hamilton and others are much more negative than positive and have made hundreds if not thousands of valid points. Everybody sees red with this poster for some reason. What's more interesting than him posting negative stuff is the fact many people seem to be tired of him but still read and comment in his threads. The down votes at this point are probably some kind validation for him.

    Anyhow, if we were looking at this from a non psu perspective and just people that followed recruiting Morgan looks like the best bet and Cox might be a little better than 50-50. Hopefully we can sway some of the Rutgers guys but that seems like a long shot right now. I hope we close strong too and would be ecstatic if we do but I wouldn't bet on it.

    Forgetting everything that happened this is not a great class, its probably closer to poor. But you can't forget everything and I will be pulling for all of these kids more than I have any class before them.

  • You guys are crazy :-) it's just an opinion- I believe we are in good standing with Morgan. Beyond that- u truthfully can't say we are in great position with any other recruits.

    Denmen, muller, lambert, cox, ect I believe are wishful thinking- just an opinion. Not that I dot hope e land all of these guys, plus Goldman, diggs, Hamilton, fuller, reeves, cam, schutt and the rest....we just aren't in the catbirds seat right now

    That's fine if you think there is more negative than positive, but if you are only ever negative about anything and everything it gets old.

    It is difficult for me to see why someone would want to be so one sided about everything. I have other things in my life that can drive me nuts and aren't so positive (work comes to mind) so I use PSU and all thing related to it as my stress reliever or a source of happiness.

    An example I read the other day would be if we made it to the Big Ten Championship game next year ... many would be happy about it while there would be a few that would say "it's because OSU has a bowl ban". Although those things may be true, I don't understand why we would want to take away from an otherwise positive event.

    Much like the OP did with saying we could get Wayne Morgan (which is positive news) but then follows it up with we won't get anyone else because we don't have a strong class and or because of the question surrounding the program. Just seems to be a negative slant on everything. I realize life isn't lollipops and balloons, and when it comes to PSU my glasses are tinted red, but when one good thing comes up I don't really think it's appropriate to rehash the same things.

    Agree to disagree ... ultimately I just don't understand why it is so onesided for some posters. I'd like to gain their perspective so that I can appreciate it more.

    If winning was easy even losers would do it.

  • Bouncing off what Lang said, the problem with post is not the message but rather the way it is presented. If he kept it at- Which recruits do you think we land, I think we only get Morgan- there's nothing wrong with that. Hamilton and Sneaky are negative, but they don't go out of their way to make a neutral post negative.

  • Honestly wasn't trying to be negative- that is just how you want to recieve my message. I have plenty of positive messages. This particular one was an opinion and one that k believe is valid.... I tried to back that up with why I thought so.

  • I love how every site has a guy who thinks he needs to piss on the parade. Nobody stated anywhere PSU was in the drivers seat for just about any kid he listed, but he needed it to be said...even though it was known. Well thanks Captain Obvious...in other news PSU lost it's HC 2 months ago and the program was dragged through the mud....can you fill us in on that too?

  • I vote that we all stop talking about post that may or may not be valid or someone downing the team and just get back to the post!! IMO, it's a waste to argue about it, I'd much rather get back to football talk!!!
