Personally really like Lucas and the Lb's I dont mind. Not fussed on the QB, but not fussed on Skylar, or well, the national QB class in general for 2012. I think there are plenty of tools to work with as well, though the one area where I am least confident is the signal caller...and that is always tough to overcome. Time will tell.

It goes to show the staff won't be pussy footing around waiting for the drama with Skylar, Cam and Reeves. If they come back in the fold, then great. They need options and its not like there are many quality ones that they can get at this point. Our QBs are probably as a group ranked 10th in the Big 10 right now. Jones is a major questionmark and you need at least one QB in this class (Morningwheg hasn't firmed his commit). The DBs ... blame the old regime. If they would have done their job, we wouldn't be in this mess. Last year, they signed two - one didn't make it grade wise for the second consecutive year and the other - we got lucky with because there was a late coaching change at UCONN. If not for that, we don't get one.

I have been dreading this day, when the 2013 class becomes the main recruiting class. Im going to get so confused...

Don't get one? Golden, kiley, reeves(gone), cox unlikely.....I am glad we aren't waiting and we are moving on, but they had better really bring the heat with cam, reeves, and skylar- or the staff won't be arond for long enough to make an impact.

I know everyone is super pumped about the next recruiting cycle- but I believe that could just be wishful thinking. We are sure to have a subpar year on the field- which will take some of the Brady sheen off BoB and we still have the scandal hanging over our head. Not winning, a weak class in 2012, and the cloud may not add up to this top 10 class everyone is banking on. The program is going to have something go right on the field for that to happen. I read a poll that was administered at one of the Hs all star games- they asked a variety of questions, but one was how likely would a Penn state scandal factor in their decision- 17/25 said they would have no interest- 6 others said it would have some affect. That, plus rival coaches putting this is their head- gonna have to win 1st before the recruits come. Gonna take some time to get back to the level we are used to- which hasn't been great lately.

I guess we will just cheer and hope- that's all we can do.

Sub par year on the field? Says who? I think our last game vs. Wisky could be for a spot in the BIG Championship game. We have good starters, it's just that our depth at some positions stink.

You need to chill spluv. Staff gets a complete pass on this class. If this staff can keep everyone on board then they have done their job. Odds are Cam and Reeves are gone, and I don't think there is anything they can do about it sadly. Nab Lynch or Cox or even both and IMO no one can complain. Anyone else is gravy. Next years class is where the rubber meets the road.
