Penn State picked up its second commitment of the 2014 class on Saturday, as Fairfax running back Nick Scott made his pledge while on campus for the Nittany Lions' Junior Day.

"DOMINATE the state" - James Franklin 1/11/14
When it's all said and done does Nick Scott and up a 3star? 4star?
And BOB strikes gold again with another "total package" kind of kid. Good football player with great potential, perspective, maturity and an interest in school beyond the football field.
“We need to keep this (expletive) together,” Mauti and Zordich to Hill
Mature beyond his years. Articulate and smart. Fits the Penn State mold.
"I like your head, it's a good look." - James Franklin, to a bald reporter asking a question.
Great pick up! If you watch his film he is exolosive and I love the way he utilizes the stiff arm!
GREAT kid! Like him even more now, if that is possible. Welcome to PSU!
Nick welcome aboard....
Your honest and straight forward comments are what this team is all about, THANK YOU!!! Your persoanl beliefs that 2 or 3 extra games a year is not what is all about, that "THE TEAM" is first and foremost is refreshing. That is not easy to say, most young men want to be the "Star" from day one. When the time is right, you and your teamates together will be winners as one. And trust me people will remember who you are.
I have no dought that you will bring the passion and dedication to the game that you shared with the staff. As for tackle, I might suggest that you leave that to the big boys, LOL.
Welcome to PSU
LOVE this kids attitude
BOB was definitely being serious about going after high character guys. Man, I didn't like Scott's tape quite as well as others but welcome aboard young man and I'd be proud to have kids with that attitude represent my university.
Kids like this keep the "grand experiment" alive and well. I was truly impressed with his interview... Amazing maturity for someone still in high school.
He ain't heavy - He's my brother!
Sounds like a great kid! Very well spoken, humble, and team player! The staff is doing a great job finding good kids. Welcome aboard, Nick!!
great interview, great kid.
Wow. I wish I would have even been half as mature, and "gotten it" half as much as he does -- at his age. Those are some impressive answers. His parents must be so proud.
If winning was easy even losers would do it.
