Pryor Interview

  • Good for a laugh.

Terrelle Pryor looking forward to fresh start under Oakland Raiders' new regime - Jim Trotter - SI.com

Raiders backup quarterback Terrelle Pryor barely hesitated on April 29 when he received a question about his mental state. The tweet read:

  • HAHA... I laughed too!

"I had to pay my mother's heat bill! Luckily... I kept the top up on the Z on the way her house!"

    hahahaha!

  • I think he's an impending train wreck for any team that takes a chance on him. I expect in 10 years he'll be out of the league, and out of money. He would have been better off playing for Joe.

  • He's an idiot. He won't write his book, he can't write. I feel no sympathy for him. His handler, excuse me, his friend from before he was good at football, could have helped the family out no problem. Hes covered in over $1000 in tats, before he was drafted. Never looked like he had anything but the nicest clothes and suits. He's full of shit.

If he makes it to year 5 I will be surprised. This is one person I will not feel sorry for when I read about all of his money being gone and how he is "down on his luck".

  • I'll set the over/under for TP's pro career at 4 years.

I'll take the under to start the betting

  • Speechless. Struggling to be sympathetic ... yet failing at an epic level.

His persona has been one of entitlement for years, and now we are to believe he is a deeply loving son that only wants to look out for his mom.

Actions speak volumes. His words ring empty.

  • Ghost writer on that book will not make enough to try to turn his ramblings into readable written words. What a toolbag.

?? He sold pants (I think it might've been the gold pants they get for beating Michigan), along with other memorabilia, for cash/tatoos/cars/etc..

  • I have some friends that went to high school with him, they say he basically has the mind of a two year old with a 22 year old's body- not to bash on the kid, but they said he was always just immature

    Yes.

  • Pryor is a perfect exhibit of a kid entitled since middle school, with no sense of responsibility, accountability or character...

  • I remember watching him at a few of his high school games. People were saying he was a once in a generation athlete, and for the most part, he was. From what I saw he was a freak athlete with massive amounts of potential. People connected to him said he would easily be a first round pick in the NFL draft, in not top 10. For a while there at OSU, it looked that way. Too bad he threw it all away. Too bad his greatest achievement was 2 BCS bowls. I find that's all I can really say for him is "too bad".

I even worked out with him once in HS football. He was an incredibly hard worker. But you could tell he had a sense of entitlement and didn't put much thought & frankly didn't care about the consequences of any of his actions.

I remember how much I wanted him to go to PSU and how disappointed I was when he chose OSU. Now I look back & scoff at myself for being so niave.

Don't forget the kid likely got paid for his commitment. I still wish he came to PSU, but at the end of the day it was never meant to be due to a conflict between his attitude and the ideals of success with honor. Ultimately I wish he would have grown up a little more in his head rather than just physically.
