I am the first to admit that I don't like you guys, but I do respect you guys. You are our Big Ten Brethren....
I will always respect Joe Pa for what he did on and off the field. He truly loved your school. He truly understood what it meant to be part of something. And he tried to live his life, in my belief, in hopes of being a great person. Joe did something with his longevity and success that few could even dream to match.
I hope he finds peace, and my thoughts and prayers are with all of the PSU community tonight.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Paterno family. Penn State fans are among the most passionate fans out there and I feel for you and your long time coach. What Paterno did for your university and college football as a whole is remarkable. God Bless.

JoePa was unique in so many different ways. He wasn't a money driven coach, but rather wanted the money to be used to better the college. He was generous in his personal donations, but more importantly he was exceptionally generous with his time for the players and community. His interviews were priceless. These are only a few of the great qualities that will be missed

It's not just a sad day for Penn State, but a sad day for all of college football.
He was, he is, and always will be Penn State!

Now that it's official, I would again like to offer my condolences and support on behalf of Buckeye Nation. I can't imagine how difficult the last 24 hours have been for most of you, but in this difficult time, take comfort in knowing Joe lived a full and rich life. He will forever be fondly remembered by the thousands and thousands of players who had the privilege to play for him and the millions of fans who cheered for him. If only we all lived such full lives.
