    The only reason I didn't put Pitt number 1 was because I assumed Jeff wanted schools that PSU currently wasn't playing. I would take Pitt over just about every school in the country and I think ALOT of Pitt fans feel the same way.

  • ND. I'm from the coal regions and up there you're either PSU or ND. Always a big game and watching the game in a bar is a wild experience. Make it a night game and it's even better.

  • LSU - SEC. Death Valley at night! Home and home. I was at the Capital One Bowl with both of my sons who are LSU alum. Well the youngest graduates in April. Great because I'm a life long PSU fan!

  • Texas- because I would like to have some sort of a presence in the state, no matter how unrealistic of a desire it is. Also, it's a bonus to watch their fans squirm and moan after a nice whoopin'.

    Pitt- I would like to have our natural rival back on.

    West Virginia- a rival who has had a high level of recent success, and would look good if we beat them.

    USC- because I hate them.

    I hate Notre Dame so much that I don't even want to play them... Win or lose their fanbase is still as arrogant as it gets because of what the team did in the 1920s. They claim to be the most established program in the history of college football. Last I checked, ND has 11 titles and Alabama has 14.

    FWIW Bama claims three ones from years where they weren't top 5 or something like that.

  • Virginia Tech. They are pretty close and I have a bunch of Virginia Tech friends. Plus their AD played for us so it shouldn't be too hard to convince him to play us.

    I don't mind it if they were the nationally recognized national champion, but claiming it because some newspaper in BFE declared the team "national champs" is absurd.

    I posted the picture of aTm claiming two more national titles this offseason, and their justification was the same for those two as Alabama has for their fake ones. It's very sad that a program feels the necessity to claim a title they clearly didn't deserve.

    If this becomes a trend, we should claim 1994 and 2012 for kicks and giggles.

    I'd like to see this happen. Getting into Virginia consistently for recruiting would be nice.

    Interesting. I hadn't heard that. Hopefully we can get something worked out sooner or later with them. I think it would be a great series for us to play since we recruit VA pretty well.
