You find out life's this game of inches, so is football. Because in either game, life or football-the margin for error is so small. -Pacino

I doubt 10% of Neb fans are blind.

Actually on the blue board they are saying it is inconclusive! It is "too blurry" lol!

Even after I posted the tweet from Mike Peirerra that said that he wouldve called it a TD.

It's a close play in PSU/NEB but if it was me I would've reversed it to a touchdown. Seems to have control when the ball broke the plane.

  • Just what we all saw. He did not lose it until he actually started to bring it back in. How does that old guy in the booth not over turn that.

Pretty simple. Cut to replay booth.

    Ring ring,

    Ref- Hello.

Caller- This is Jim Delaney, What you saw was clearly a fumble. Understood?

Ref- Of course it was. Who would see it any other way?

  • When they showed the replay official it looked like he was reviewing it on his laptop with a 15" monitor. Why don't they have 40" TV's with HD.

Well the Nebraska announcers agreed it was a touchdown. I was in Florida and couldn't get the game on tv so went to my rental car with XM radio to listen. They had the Nebraska feed. Both their broadcasters said it was a touch down and should be reversed. Tell them to listen to their own Nebraska broadcasters.

I just watched a replay on me 3" x 6" iPhone, and it was clear to me it was a touchdown. Even if he only had a 15" screen, no excuse for that call. A "professional" ref at that level should clearly be able to make that call correctly. Clearly someone has a different agenda, and clearly B1G refs aren't professional.

  • I had my bar room filled with people and when showed the replay everyone started cheering and celebrating the TD. I immediately told everyone to settle down that the zebras would screw us........ And they did. Almost used to it after all the bs calls that PSU has gotten threw the years

  • The Big Ten was going to do whatever they could to prevent PSU from winning. They could not let PSU win because then they would not have a single team ranked in the Top 25, except OSU in the one poll. National perception of the conference is not good at all, and hasn't been for some time. How would it look if no teams were ranked? Call it a conspiracy theory or whatever you want, this is what happened. How would it look if the Big Ten sent an unranked team to the Rose Bowl? I say give the Big Ten a big middle finger and leave the conference. I know that will never happen, but it would be nice.

  • Most Nebraska fans are going to admit this was a touchdown and a bad call. Of course you are going to have the lunatic fringe that will argue the other way and bring up 1982, even though many of them, me included were too young to remember. unfortunately, we lost our momentum after that call and never got it back, too late in the game. I hate to say it but it is what it is and we need to move on. We are having a fantastic season considering all of the crap that has been thrown at us. This team is better than an average 8-4 Joe team and everyone in the college football world knows it.
Hopefully the team uses this as motivation to inflict pain on our final two at home. Next week will be a telling tale on how we fare against Wisky. And I believe we are going to light em up and this call is our motivation.

  • That is not a good photo to use. His left hand is off the ball and you can't tell if his fingers are still controlling it. A photo of a few seconds before this shot showing that he had total control of the ball when the tip cross the front of the goal line would be better. ABC showed a clear shot of it when they kept showing it after the screw job. They started with the shot of the photo you used and then showed it again in slow motion and you could see that Lehman had total control of the ball right before this photo.

  • I know we are all upset, and i agree he was in... but I assume I was not the onlyone yelling at Lehman for going full extension in traffic from three yards out. I was not surprised by the "outcome." Bigboy like that has gotta rumble his way to the goal line.

  • The worst part about that is this is the second time in two weeks Nebraska got a questionable call to go their way that allowed them to win a game. Same thing happened last week when they beat Sparty. Also earlier in the year as well.

  • I do think that the Big10 is doing its best to get top ranked teams in the BCS. I think in the championship game, you will see WIS get screwed over, especially if they lose to OSU and us (another potential ref suck game). But, this kind of shit happens in every conference, but I do think that this will be the first year only one Big10 team makes post season play, which is pretty big deal. What really baffles me though is that we had to chances to go undefeated and we had the clock fiasco at Michigan and the pass interference penalty against Iowa, which would of resulted in a Big10 team playing in the title game. Anyway, i hate complaining about it, but I am 100% sold on following Notre Dame to another conference, unless its the PAC12. Do you think how the Big10 treated PSU is one of the reasons they want nothing to do with this conference?
