Steele is as good as any of the pre-season prognosticators. There is a lot of positive energy flowing around the team right now, but it is far too early to know whether that will translate to quick success on the field. In my mind I can formulate an argument for being in the B10 championship game, but I can also see how we end up having to fight just to be .500. 3-1 in our first 4 games would be a solid start for this team. The scary truth is 2-2 or 1-3 is possible.

The pre=season mags are great to tell you about CFB and get a feel for what is going on.... It NEVER EVER EVER bats close to 1.000..... It gives you a better picture but nothing great.

Steele knows his stuff. He had us pegged highest of all the media publications in 2005. He also had us pegged pre-season as tying for 1st for leaders division.

Steele is as good as anyone in the business. He definitely isn't one that has an anti Penn State agenda.
