Not to be an ass, but I know all about the hard time for CU fans because I went to school in Colorado. I do remember that chant that gave me pause to question Nebraska fans - "Sal is dead, go Big Red." Nebraska fans are a very classy bunch, but I lost alot of respect for them that day.

I appologize as I have never heard anything about the 94 PSU team as a better team than Nebraska.
Only argument I have is we played the #1 team at home in the Orange bowl. We won, which gave us the title.

I'll be honest, I don't know much about Nebraska as I haven't been able to watch any of their games.
I like our offense as long as they minimize mistakes. Frankly, the only teams that have stopped our offense, IMO, are 1) OSU and 2) ourselves. Our offense has a penchant for making mistakes and killing their own drives with drops, poor throws, etc. So far they've done pretty well on the road. We'll just have to see what happens.

To me, this is OSU all over again, except on the road. You have a predominant running offense (Martinez and Abdullah), like Miller and Hyde. Martinez is a much better passer than is Miller. It's not close. Both teams are prone to coughing up the ball, Nebraska and OSU. It's trying to force turnovers ... use ball control offense to keep Martinez and crew on the sidelines. This is where we might miss Carter if he doesn't play. I can see a heavy dose of Zwinak and the TEs. Nebraska's defense has holes, just like OSU's did. We will see if BOB learned something from his play calling debacle two weeks ago.

Yep. This is why I'm worried about Saturday. It's essentially OSU-lite (no offense Nebraska fans), but we're without our best security blanket and our best DL. If T-Money gets something going quickly I don't know if we'll be able to keep our capable DTs enough to stop Rex from having a huge day up the middle (if he plays) or eating up blocks to keep Mauti and Crew free.
Also, IMO if our OL doesn't have a great day McGloin will struggle in a tough environment.

At this point, I'd say Rex is pretty unlikely. But Abdullah is just as problematic. He'll hit you for 8 yards off a simple sweep, he did do time and time again against the Spartans. He's now got three straight 100+ yard games and five on the season.
How do you all think Penn State will handle the outside run game? Something you're strong at, weak at, or not much to reference?
