    I'd say that is because there really isn't anything in here that us VIP members don't already know. I think Tim has actually done a nice job transitioning to the recruiting beat but, again, very little new here. Only thing that stood out to me was he said there has already been a LB told we were full at the position (sans AA obviously). I know Sean insinuated as much but I assume he's referring to Benton. I think most of us have been holding out hope he could still be a part of this class w/ AA or no AA.

    Fair or not, no one should expect up votes when they post aarticles from VBR or BSD.

    I don't expect any up votes for posting something, I personally think the up and down votes thing is stupid. I have never once upvoted or downvoted anyone, don't see the need to. If I don't like something that is said, I just ignore it, I don't vote on it. Just my opinion is all.

    I can't understand the hatred towards VBR or BSD? I mean ya they don't have some of the premium info that this site does but to me they offer a different more opinion oriented type of view towards PSU.

    It's because, right or wrong, some people think that those two sites steal info from here and post it there. shrug

    For all we know, VBR is just stealing information off of Lions247. Sean and staff rarely....and I mean rarely, get beaten to the punch when it comes to anything PSU football or recruiting news. When news is released and not confirmed by Lions247, 9 times out of 10 it's false

    I really don't believe this is true. VBR never beats Sean and Cory to the info but he does talk to recruits independently and seems to work his ass off. Nothing in that article was information that we here didn't have a few days earlier when the article was posted.

    I'm sick of hearing this 'VBR steals...BSD copies..." shtick. Its unfair to the guys that work hard for the info they get. Obviously if two people call a recruit they will likely get very similar info from him. Doesn't mean it was stolen.

    I tend to agree with that notion. Used to spend all my PSU time on there, but now its here as I dont click with the new personality of BSD. They do have some good posts like getting info from opponents bloggers, but their recruiting and opinions are pretty terrible.

  • You dont go to BSD for breaking recruiting news. You dont go ANYWHERE else for it IMO. You come here. I dont really look anywhere else at all for ANY recruiting news.

    Whats the point?

    And those guys cant even talk about football for more than 3 straight posts without being sidetracked into some ridiculous but usually funny thread about anything BUT football. But there are some good posters on there, and a lot of good debate about a lot of things, and especially the situation PSU is going through.

    IMO, Completely different sites that both have their place. And the guys that run BSD have always spoken very highly of Sean and 247.
