Half our starters are currently playing for other schools. And the reason we are good is because of the seniors? I'm sorry, is Allen Robinson a senior? How about Kyle Carter? Or Bill Belton, Donovan Smith, Adrian Amos, etc? Offensively our biggest loss will be Matt McGloin and we have a 5 star QB coming in to take that spot over. Also we have Bill O'Brien, you just have Urbz.

True that you have had it rough with the transfers, which is one reason I had written off PSU but have been very surprised at how good of football team they are. It's why I said that even though I love my buckeyes, my objective assessment is that PSU is a better football team and will win.
But your smart ass remark is just another reason why I have come to dislike PSU so much. I hope you enjoy this year, I really do. The only reason you are a decent football team is because of your seniors. They'll be gone after this year, with crap talent behind them, and for the foreseeable future. It'll be downhill from here...

I'll preclude this by saying that i understand players can still transfer after this year but I think PSU will be ok next year on offense as they only lose 2 senior starters and bring back a ton of experience on the oline. Defense will definitely be worse but wont drop off a cliff as long as we have Johnson and vandy as our coaches. Many of our better players are either freshmen or sophomores which gives me some hope for the future.

I was very surprised that Ohio State opened a -3. If I bet, I would have jumped on penn state like crazy with that #.
I know about penn state. People (not just the "blanketed" Ohio State fans)... but all fans, forget that penn state was pretty good last year.
Then when you lost to ohio u and va everyone just forgot about you. But good Lord... the 1st 2 games you were playing against a much larger opponent than those 2 teams. After the body blows the team took this summer, it would have been more shocking if you won those games.
But it is impossible to ignore the job that Coach o'brien and his staff have done. They have gotten better each week.
My homer side says Buckeyes win by 7...my brain tells me that penn state should win this game....we will see,

PSU back down to -1. What's the current news on their QB? I figured early money bet PSU thinking he was out and then when he gets cleared the money will go back to OSU. So what's his current status and projected status is what I want to know before I bet it.
