It's nice that the team comes on strong in the second half...but as we saw against UCF, it can be too little, too late. Would like to see it spread out a little more over the rest of the game.
Last year, with an offense that often started strong, it was beneficial to get the ball first in the game and score. This year, I'm wondering if deferring to the 2nd half is the best choice. Just a thought. Of course, I'm one who prefers to defer anyway.
It would seem that after Hack gets his reads down and sees what is coming, he gets more into rythm. Given that he is a Freshman, I am not sure this will change a whole lot this year.
I hope that the Defense can hold games close until the Offense can get untracked and put up some scores. Watching Indiana, the D better be very disciplined and stay on point.
