didn't know where to put this but apparently ND is having some racial issues on campus right now...Louis Nix appears to be the next one out the door

Would love to hear more on this, I wonder if this could be traced back to Brian Kelly?

They were the frontrunners so that makes sense.

I remember early on Pitters thought he was all theirs.

Are you still hearing late May? After checking again today, I keep seeing April 27th , about a week after our spring game...

You guys still feel like Huereman is a lock? Saw a thread on Bucknuts asking the same question.

I'm still hearing he is a lock. Still plans on waiting for his brother to get home on that Friday so he can make the announcement with him. I think a few are worried about him taking another visit to ND this week and rightfully so. Anything can happen on visits. You hearing anything different? To be honest I really want McNeil, hard to complain about taking a top 10 TE though. Bucknuts is going a little crazy over big names coming in for the spring game, so it is hard to tell what is going to happen. Under JT we never brought in this many prospects and definitely not this many highly rated national recruits at once.

JSapp put out word late last night that Huereman wasn't leaving Wednesday as was originally planned. He will stay another day and fly home late Thursday. Wants some time to think before flying back to Colimbus. Also heard Tyler Eifert has been spending a lot of time with the kid.

Should be an interesting announcement. Hopefully OSU can still get McNeil if Huereman decides to go to ND.

What's the latest on Lynch and Nix? Staying or going?

Danny Etling, the #1 QB from Indiana, committed to Purdue

A.J. Natter, one of the top players in Wisconsin, committed to Nebraska over Wisconsin

  • UI fans are so happy. They think theyll land Bailey now from Chicago. He loved OSU and liked NW and now they have their QBs. Comes down to Wisco versus Illinois.

Yes but UI fans think they are MNC bound in 3 years. Im not kidding. Think that Illinois talent will be on lockdown and thats all they need. I played here and know the talent isnt that good and they will never lock down Chicago.

I believe Urban wants to take one more QB, though I doubt Bailey will come now.

They could be a pretty good team if they locked down their own state. We'll end up with 4-5 4* just from Illinois.

That isn't a typical year. And Chicago is very detatched from downstate Illinois. Trust me, I know.

Yeah, I know, normally the state produces about 4 or 5 4* all together. It's not enough to sustain a team like PSU or UM but it could sustain a team like Illinois. They could go 7-5 or 8-4 with the talent that they produce. Not great but still better than they are now.

  • I hear it's 50/50 for Huereman now. Not getting very good vibes from some posters.

I'm sure the PSU board is up to date already, but expectations for an AA commit at OSU spring game have gone way down. What once appeard to be a HUGE weekend is starting to fizzle. It's looking like 1-2 commits max. grumble

Hearing a lot of chatter it's ND/Miami battle. Not sure if I'm buying that.

  • Looks like Ohio State picked up two commitments today from LB Alex Anzalone and DE Joey Bosa. Ohio State and Michigan are killing it right now in terms of recruiting.

Also, Virginia Tech picked up three verbal commitments today during their spring game from DB Charles Clark, QB Bucky Hodges and OL Parker Osterloh.

Finally, Notre Dame got a verbal commitment from OL John Montelus.

Bosa is not going to be fun to block in the next few years.

  • Doesn't seem like Bosa is official yet, though probably just a matter of time.

    Marcell Lazard committed to WVU.

    John Montelus to ND.

Lazard must have been shut out of Ohio State. He wanted to commit a few weeks back, but I think they may want to end it at Pocic.
