The Wisky staff better know what they are doing. They basically ignored him until he decommitted, from the sounds of it.

I only know what I've seen in the articles (haven't checked out their board since he decommitted), but basically that's it - they seemingly ignored him, didn't call, didn't contact him, even after NSD. Then they finally called him, but they didn't clarify anything.

Sounds like Wisconsin is going after bigger game, like Kyle Allen in Arizona, but still. I'd also say that Stewart seems a bit overrated based on his offers, but it wasn't the best way to handle it, IMO.

What's the excuse for his release?

Couple others that he could get rid of as well, it sounds like.

Is it just me or does Michigan recruiting, although ranked very high the last two years, isn't going to produce as much excitement on the field as they think?

They've loaded up on OL, which only 5 are on the field, they have a good RB commit, but they haven't addressed any playmaker type athletes on the outside on offense or defense. I'm sorry, but I've become a believer that speed in certain positions is a must to win in CFB these days. They say "Bama does it this way"... But no they don't, Bama does it that way, PLUS good athletes on the outside, PLUS 2 or 3 different RB's rotating through, and then they have better athletes on defense than you line up on offense...Michigan is a long LONG way from doing it the way Bama does. I'm not bashing them as I would rather see them than the bucknutters be the BIG's representation while we are "away"... I'm not gonna lie, O$U's recruiting scares me a bit, he is getting a ton of speed, and seems to be building the defense the way they do it down south.

Top50 WR Drake Harris has decommitted from Michigan State. Said they are no longer under consideration. He's visited Michigan three weekends in a row, but claims no leaders and will visit Florida, FSU, and OSU in the next couple months.

Yes, Jabrill Peppers. It looks like he's interested in us, though not quite sure how interested. With our low scholarship #'s, he's intrigued by playing both sides of the ball for Penn State and playing early.

Nicholson has been pretty quiet. We've heard that he liked his visit to Penn State, but not much outside of that.

5* RB Jalen Hurd committed to Tennessee. Shocking, considering OSU has been considered his favorite for a while.
