  • Sounds like Barkley has a separated shoulder, which even if it's his non-throwing shoulder I would imagine it will keep him out of their game against Notre Dame.

  • I dont know if I want Oregon to lose now if KSU is going to lose...Not sure if I want Oregon or Bama (or other SEC team) to take on ND. I think either way, ND loses, but sucks they will prob be in the MNC game.

  • Honestly, I'd just as rather keep the SEC out of the MNC. Chances aren't good, but that's what I'd like to see.

    KSU ran a freaking awful double reverse. No idea who thought that was a good idea, especially the way they did it.

    KSU getting exposed. The no 1 team in the country shouldn't give up 45 to Baylor.

    I definitely thought their defense was better than this. Offense too. Baylor has done a great job.

    Honestly...I really want them to win now. Do NOT want to see another SEC lovefest/suckfest in the MNC game.

    I could NEVER root for ND. Roll Tide all the way baby!

    I couldnt care less about the SEC lovefest, as it is legitimate. They are legitimately the best conference and have been by far for awhile. Whereas, ND is year after year way overrated just like I think they are right now (but need to be #1).

    I won't root for them since they're Catholic, but they've beaten everyone on their schedule they've earned it. I will say that going to USC with that #1 target on their back won't be a cakewalk though, pending Barkley plays.

  • Big shock...Oregon plays a big, physical team and gets pushed around at the point of attack. I said it earlier this year and I'll say it again...Chip Kelly and Oregon will never win a title playing the way they do. Actually rooting for a USC win next week.....would rather see the SEC in the title game. Also...It would be unbelievably hilarious for OSU to go undefeated and sitting at home as the only unbeaten.

    I'll root for them against USC. Against Alabama...I'd probably have to root for Bama.

    It's been mostly deserved. They've been the top conference in terms of great teams. What always bothered me is when people were claiming the SEC is the best "top to bottom." They were the best...top. Not top to bottom. That really irked me at the time (about 5 years ago), and has made me hate SEC fanboys ever since (especially the ones who seem to claim MNC's for the conference even though they don't root for any of the teams that actually won the games).

  • Regarding OSU, if they do finish unbeaten and ND takes care of business next week, those sanctions would get in the way of guaranteeing a Northern MNC. Granted with the teams involved I doubt most here have an issue with that.

    Having 5 or 6 one-loss teams would even be worse than having 3 or 4 undefeated teams as far as the image of the BCS. Thank god for the upcoming playoff

    I would take 'Bama, UF, and UGA all over ND and OSU on a neutral field....maybe LSU too. I understand what you were saying, but neither ND or OSU is top 5 in the country this year IMO.

    I bet it's an SEC/Oregon matchup actually (assuming Oregon wins out). You figure, one of 'Bama/UGA will eliminate the other after the SEC title game and if Oregon can go through unscathed, they will likely be the ones waiting. JMO.

    Art Briles is a hell of a coach, that's for sure. Phenomenal game planning and execution by Baylor this week.

    I'm furious right now though, because the worst case scenario just happened for me in the title race. Snyder is out, Oregon is out, so its ND/SEC. I hate the SEC, and I don't really like ND or the thought of them winning an mNC.

    This sucks. I'm actually rooting for Auburn this weekend.
