Missed call on that play where Gardner threw the ball, but looked like forearm was down at the two.

Congratulations to Rutgers for taking their first lead of the game with 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter at home against 2-7 Army. The sky is the limit for that football program.

Must have been either holding him down or the other guy was keeping him down...only caught a glance. Just had a funny look at first peek there

Only 2 things I can think of.
NW player underneath was holding him down somehow.

If I had to guess he probably pulled him to the ground as he was falling and held on to his pads so he couldn't get up and tackle Mark.
btw that was a douche move by Fitzgerald to celebrate a roughing the passer penalty like that IMO

Really nice play for NW there on replay, and great read by Simeon.
It wasnt even that the WR was matched on a LB.
The real read came with the RB(Mark) motion. Free Safety went with RB Mark. SS on the side the safety went to was to roll back to take the deep part of that area of the field though still had to watch the outside WR on his side to help. Too much ground to cover if the play goes in its normal time(no pass rush to disrupt). Like when the camera view gives so much info like that. :)
