I love that the players can actually be more "free" as far as their emotions go and also with doing away with the "straight cut" old school ways. I think those two things will definitely make this PSU team funner to watch and presumably looser on the field as a result and not playing all uptight and close to the vest.

By the look of some of these guys at LFL, that chip is setting on some pretty big shoulders. The only guy that didn't look physically bigger IMO was Shrive. He still has no upper body presence. It blows me away how much bigger these guys look!

I am a big fan of making a play and walking back to the huddle. Long hair and a beard doesn't bring happiness. I do love the more competitive nature.

Agreed, there is a fine line. However, when our players get some leeway to show a bit of emotion, we always played tough. I think back to the 05 OSU game, our defense was fired up beyond belief, and they rode that wave of emotion to victory.

I think too often, we tried to keep emotion out of our game and it led to some flat performances.
