Apparently AA hasn't put OSU completely behind him. This is the latest from Silver Bullet Recruiting ...

Yesterday, news broke that 4* linebacker Alex Anzalone had decommitted from Ohio State. Most thought this was because of the incident with registered Sex offender Charles Eric Waugh, known on twitter as the "BdubsTriviaGuru". This however, isn't so much the case. I just exchanged a couple of texts with Alex and he had the following to say:

Alex spoke with Coach Meyer and Coach Fickell again tonight.
Alex is still considering Ohio State: "I just need to take a step back and slow everything down. It has little to do with the sex offender itself."
Top 6 (no order): Ohio State, Florida, Notre Dame, Penn State, Stanford, USC.
No timetable for a decision: "I just have to re-evaluate and weigh all my options. I won't let one situation characterize OSU as a whole."
Visit to Florida: Just visiting his grandparents.
