This is off the Paterno topic but:

Why was Curley such a b**** when he went to the Second Mile. The Freeh report makes it sound like the executive director was his boss. He tells the guy that Sandusky was in the showers with a boy but nothing sexual happened. He never follows up with the guy, and almost completely dismisses the whole incident. In addition they wait a whole month before notifying the second mile. An angle that hasn't really been speculated:

What if PSU didn't want to piss off the second mile because they have so many big name donors, not just the AD, but also the entire school. What if the measures taken were to avoid publicity of the Second Mile, and not the actual football program. Just some food for thought....
