Offense-Defense Bowl Preseason All-Americans

  • For the Class of 2013...

Myrtle Beach, SC – Fresh on the heels of past O-D Bowl's successes at having past participants selected to the Pro Bowl, having alumni invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, and leading all other bowls in Senior Bowl selections, Offense-Defense is proud to announce its Preseason All-America Team.

A few players represent schools who saw participants in the 2012 All-America Game; Yulee tight end Kelvin Rainey represented the school in the game and running back Derrick Henry from Yulee leads the 2012 Preseason All-America Team.

Others who represent schools from the 2012 Bowl include the Dillon, South Carolina duo of tackle D.J. Park and center Bryce King who played with wide receiver Kwinton Smith. Central Gwinnett High School’s Trey Johnson saw his teammates Francis Kallon and George Smith play in the game as well.

“We are excited to announce our preseason All-America team, “said Offense-Defense Director of Player Personnel Josh Buchanan, “All of these players are great talents who will likely be playing at BCS schools in 2013.

  • Sean, what's the word on Kugler?

Is he leaning anywhere so far?

‏@Cordale10 Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS

  • Corners from Ohio and Maryland...that's huge. Would be awesome if we can get one of those guys. LJ and Butler should go hard after the Maryland kid. Anybody know anything about these guys?

Also, with our new interest in the south I wouldn't be surprised to see those Georgia backers offered.

Ya gotta believe Purdue could be a sleeper, thats where his brothers at. Then again his father is on the Steelers staff. So its either he stays close to home or follows his brother.

  • Nice to look at this list and not ignore players west of PA and south of VA. Retraining myself to look at players as far south as GA.
