Gotcha. Where'd you live? (have we had this conversation before?)

Went to Jefferson for medical school. Lived near campus for three years and closer to Rittenhouse Square one year. I will say Philly had GREAT restaurants 20 years ago and I've heard it's way better now.

Hmm. Maybe we had this conversation, not sure. I have a good friend who started at Jeff this year. I live a few blocks from there now (13th and Locust). Our food is definitely top notch, although I have nothing to really compare it to.

    Where are you at now?

It looked like a nice campus, shows what little I know.

Also, something that really bugged me, if you're choosing between a D-I coaching gig in Florida and moving to be a dean at some small liberal arts college in Philly, you choose coaching gig 100% of the time. They would've gotten a pool, and about 5-6 times the income. Such a stupid ending it's absurd.

That HS has a cool field though.

He wasn't choosing between a D-1 coaching gig in Florida and a dean at a small school in Philly. He was choosing between a D-1 coaching gig and his marriage. Big difference.

Whoa. Gotta ask which place was your favorite? I'd have to guess Boulder, but I just love Colorado.

Burlington was actually prettier than Boulder but Colorado was overall a nicer place to live (mostly because of the weather). Tucson is a pretty darn good place to be if you don't need a good club scene

Good to know. I'm pretty jealous you've been able to live all over the country.

When my daughter started to talk, one of the first things I taught her was to yell, "Penn State" if I said, "We are".

  • Sixers back in the game...Evan Turner with back-to-back excellent games. Finally being the ET we thought he would be. Hopefully this isn't a fluke. Not to mention, Doug bit the bullet and now he is starting.

This 4 game stretch and 7/8 game stretch should be telling. Playing some great teams and some division games finally.

  • First round of golf in the books!

If any of you play and want to play a nice course, I highly recommend Odessa National Golf Club, in Townsend DE. A lot of their greens are well guarded, and some undulating greens as well. Looking forward to playing this course again, however it was extremely windy this morning when I played.

my lesson last week had me straighten out my hunchback. I made very solid and consistent contact once I improved my posture a little.

Best shot of the day: From 209 on a 438 par 4, I hit my 3W to within 8' of the hole, and promptly missed my birdie putt. But I hit 13 fairways, 8 GIR, and made 5 pars.

52 on front, 45 on back, considering that I haven't played since mothers day weekend last year, VERY happy.

Nice, I'm looking forward to maybe getting out there to hit balls tomorrow if it's nice in SC.

Posture and alignment are very important. Do you get a chance to practice very much?

It was the first time out since last mothers day. I wanna get out at least twice a month now.

Just picked up the game in 2009 and love it. Frustrating but no feeling like when u hit a drive dead center 270 or drill a 3w from 218 to within 8' of the hole for a birdie putt.

I would love to get a foursome from here together for a fun afternoon of golf and talking PSU football followed by dinner and some beer

    Not bad.

I've only played 9 holes in the last 9 months. Now, I have to decide if I'm playing in two member-guests in the next few months (including one at Springhaven CC in Wallingford). Apparently, I'm fun to play golf with since I'm a hack and keep getting invited to play. LOL.

I've been reading article after article after article trying to get enough to write a serviceable paper by monday afternoon. 30, 15-30 page articles for an assignment the prof sent us on Tuesday of spring break (we knew about the assignment but had no directions until Tuesday). Class is such BS.

    And you sir?

Yikes sounds pretty awful. Just got home from that concert, SNL is on but I'm about to hop on the sticks and play some FIFA. My dog is going nuts haha she's got too much energy for 12:50 AM on a Saturday night.

I need some of that energy. Was this the Arctic Monkeys concert you were talking about earlier this week?

  • If anyone didn't see the Flyers' shootout goal tonight, here it is. Disgusting (all rights belong to Mr. Pavel Datsyuk).

    Play

Claude Giroux Shootout Goal Vs Maple Leafs...

All Rights Go To The National Hockey Leauge (NHL) I dont own this. And the flyers and Claude Giroux i dont own. Claude Giroux scores a amazing shootout goal to win it for the flyers playing the Toronto Maple Leafs on 3-10-12
