My cousin works in CT, and he said the only thing to do is drink and play city league sports. Apparently people are pretty competitive about it though. I'd assume NJ isn't any different.
I've heard there are some pretty nice golf courses in AC, I think I'm going to stop there on the way back home after junior or senior year and see what its all about.

Then I'm not sure what to tell you. Santorum is a horrible candidate, and having somebody that out of touch with reality as the head of state is dangerous.
And don't talk about creeping socialism, please come up with something intelligence.

Never said Santorum wasn't a horrible Candidate, just that he was better then Obama. Why is he out of touch with reality? Because he has morals, believes in God? Prey tell? I happen to not like the reality of what's going on in this country. A lot of people looking for a handout and to bring down achievers instead of pull themsleves up by their bootstraps and work to improve themselves.
Santorum wants to overturn the joke that is Obamacare. WHat a farce Obamacare is. I don't know if Obama flat out lied about the things he said about the program or he just flat out is ignorant about the topic, what he said and what's actually in the bill
Santorum believes in Immigration reform and actually following the law. Obama doesn't
Santorum wants to reign in spending and cut entitlements. So do I. Obama, not so much.
Obama swore an oath to uphold the constitution and law of the land. He has since given direct orders for his departments to ignore laws such as the defense of marriage act. Now, he may not agree with the law and maybe many others do too, that's not the point.
Shall we talk about all those shovel ready jobs and the idiocy of the stimulus?
Would you like me to keep going? There's not a thing Obama has done or stands for that I agree with and think is good for this country.

+1, Sneak. I was about to address the out of touch comment myself. The problem with Obama (and Clinton during his term) is that he truly believes he is smarter than everyone else and knows what is best. But the reality that Obama sees is not the same one that hard working, industrious people that believe in personal responsibility see.

Obama is an extremely intelligent person, he just happened to be extremely naive.
In theory what he's doing could work, its just not practical unless everybody works together and nobody cheats the system. Unfortunately, that will never happen. However it is a campaign promise, arguably his biggest, so it was one he needed to keep.

So I just watched Miracle. That game is easily the one moment in sports history that I wish I could have seen live.
What's everyone else got? Ali/Frazier maybe? Tiger's first Masters? The Babe maybe calling his shot? Jesse Owens telling Hitler to suck it (figuratively, of course)?
(I watched because it's the 50th anniversary of Wilt scoring 100, another worthy choice IMO).

Tex, you're young and you'll figure this out eventually. There are a lot of supposedly "very intelligent" people in the world. I've met lots of them throughout my career. However, just like in sports and pretty much every field, there are very, very few people that are clearly superior than everyone else. Obama is not a genius. He is well-educated. He is driven and he's well-spoken. He is also very arrogant. There are no (or few) imbeciles running around in Washington. The belief that he is "smarter" than everyone else is laughable.

Nothing is wrong with believing in God, or the fact that he has morals, but he is ostracizing a lot of people by talking from his soap bax about Christ.
How is Santorum going to fix the attitudes of the laborforce in America? His own party can't even fully get behind him, how is he supposed to rally people around him? Any plans to fix the unemployment problem? Or should those lazy underachievers just suck it up and shut up until people start hiring again?
I don't agree with Obamacare either, so I don't know what to tell you on that. It was a campaign promise he had to keep if he wanted to get reelected, and he made a ton of concessions to get the bill passed.
Unless they plan on increasing the funding for Department of Immigration, I'm not sure what good it will do. People won't ever stop coming over illegally, and I guess its JMO here, but if its easier to come across legally they won't have to resort to dangerous ways of coming over illegally.
Let the major companies fail, and thousands more become unemployed and a greater share of the market goes to foreign companies. I don't think it will work well because the companies are still run by nimrods who plan quarterly instead of for the long-term.
What about fixing the no child left behind act? Was that bad for the country? What about pushing for a natural gas pipeline from Alaska, potentially lessening dependance on foreign gas supplies?
You can if you want to, but I'd like to know what any Republican plans on doing to fix the problems.
