There is going to be an insane amount of cops around this weekend, probably more than any other year.

You should be fine as long as you don't act like an idiot. Luckily, even if you're wasted and somewhat responsible, there will be enough out of control wasted people to make you look ok.

    Racist Jeremy Lin Headline Aftermath

http://www.facebook.com/idiotculture http://www.twitter.com/idiotculture http://idiotculturecomedy.tumblr.com An exclusive look at the ESPN writers room in the aftermath of their posting the racist headline "Chink In The Armor" referring to the New York Knicks' first loss since starting Chinese-American Jeremy Lin. Apparently, they still can't help themselves. http://www.twitter.com/mistermattmayer http://www.twitter.com/shaundiston

That's the key. Just don't be as out of control as the people to your left and right.

This year finding a daylong party at one apartment will be key. No frat parties (from what I'm told) and bars will be packed...get to an apt and stay there for the long haul. Jumping around from place to place exposes you to things out of your control (drunk out of towners, fights, police) and lead to bad situations, especially with all the non PSU people coming in.

We're getting old. I'm 23 and I feel like I couldn't hang with the 21 year olds anymore. I'll find out if that's true Blue/White weekend though...

Hah I'm still 22, still young. I hear you though. I think law school has sped up your aging process man, I can still throw 'em back cheers

That's just the type of positive reinforcement State Pattys participants need.

Must be it. Most of my friends drink every night just to make it seem less awful. I can't afford all that noise, so my drinking is limited and i just go way too hard every time I drink. Oh well, still fun as hell...

    Sorry man.

If you wouldn't run so well that wouldn't be an issue.

  • Oh lets see ... we got up and sent off the wifes parents to Florida, went to Sam's Club and the mall for a haircut ... so it's been exciting ....

Another OT question: The blower motor went out on our furnace friday night. We have been heating the rooms we are in with a space heater since then, it's working out OK. Apparently they can't get the part till Monday to fix it. My question is ... is it OK for me to turn on my oven (natural gas) for a bit to help heat up the house?

Luckily it hasn't been too cold here in York over the past few days.

If winning was easy even losers would do it.

  • Basking in the glory of the Arsenal victory this morning. Otherwise not much might go play some hoops its 45 and sunny by me.

Anyone interested in the Oscars tonight? My roommate and I watched all the best picture nominations so we can bet on who we think will win.

Bahaha, I don't run anything. Daytona 500 my man. I'm grilling out and have some folks over here.

My ex girlfriend used to race sprint cars though. That was hot.

Called my pop (fire captain) and he said DO NOT do that. It will release too much carbon monoxide in the house and is a fire hazard. He said stick with the space heaters and blankets. It may suck but if you have little ones (Idk) especially it could be really dangerous.

Thinking about doing the same. It's sunny and probably about 45. A little too cold but managable.

Pretty pumped that we're about to make it out of February with no substantial snow fall. Really, there was no snow this winter. One or two storms of about 4-5 inches, and then the next day it melted away. Just need to get past these upcoming two weeks of March and we're home free. My favroite winter of my life.

I need to spend most of the afternoon in the library, I can feel spring break-itis coming on so I need to work ahead.

Great thanks ... space heaters and blankets!

No little ones to worry about, just my me, the wife, and our dog.

We have been turning off the space heaters when we leave ... just don't want to risk that either.
