To be honest, it makes no difference.
I was impressed with both though. Biden did a good job of fighting, showing that the ticket wouldn't back down, something Obama didn't do. Ryan seemed clear and concise, like he had a purpose. Didn't let Biden push him around too much, although there were points where he curdled under Biden's pressure.
That being said, they have very little to do with the outcome, almost nothing, so tonight was more for hardcore followers than anything.

I agree it's not a significant factor in the election. Seems that the consensus is that Biden achieved his goal of being the "dominator," in contrast to Obama's embarrassing performance, but that his incessant smirking/laughing/interrupting basically offset any advantage he might have earned.

Yep, agreed Shavi.
Both accomplished their goals. All in all, it was an entertaining debate.
If elections were held a few days before the first debate, Obama would've won in a landslide. However, Reps are getting fired up about Romney, so things are getting interesting and close again.

Anyone watching the Sandy Concert? The Rollings Stones were a letdown like usual only playing two songs while the Who played 5 or 6. This is why I have loved the Who more than the Stones. I feel like the Who are more connected to their work than the Stones.
