FWIW, if you saw the Big 33 game, you know just how big of a project Oakman was to begin with. The guy was absolutely lost and he didn't school anybody in that game. Kerner on the other hand, was the best player on the field for PA. He just needs to add some size and he will be a very good player for us.

I don't know what he did, so it's hard to say at this point if the dismissal is valid. But for those of you that are congratulating BOB for zero tolerance, that illustrates one of the things I'll miss most about Joe. He believed in second chances. How different would the life of the current Pitt WR coach be if he was dismissed and thrown to the wayside after the stereo incident? Let's just make sure the punishment fits the crime before going ra-ra for BOB here.

I would like to know what their definition of assaulting is. Grabbing someone by the wrist is hardly assault. Going Scirrotto on someone is assault. Looking back on things players have gotten in trouble for and not been permanently throw off the team makes this look sort of lame. It's not right but neither is knocking out a teammate, getting into fights, and illegal drugs.
