  • I don't like wrestling because its scripted and they already know who is gonna win the match. Anyway my husband likes to watch so I watch to make him happy. I think they said they have a YouTube channel now. So you can check and see if you can watch on YouTube. Hope this helps

  • Scott Hall is all I remember about wrestling. I think he became a drug addict.

  • Just type in Cena vs The Rock on youtube. I'm sure it's on by now.

I was big wrestling fan for the past few years (right around Wrestlemania 26), but barely even watch it now. Did get inot a little the past few months when The Rock came back, and it was pretty good. He certainly isn't back full time (especially with the GI Joe movie), but expect to see him in 2-3 PPvs per year with a few RAWs mixed in. Last night he said he will win the WWE Title again. Very excited to see him in some programs with other wrestler (Punk and hopefully HBK).

Also, Brock Lesnar came back last night. He gave the F5 to Cena. One year contract, at least 2 RAWs per month.

    And wrestling-nerd-mode over...

Ate lunch a table over from Scott Hall last month when I was in Florida. He's looking a little rough.

As an aside, any feed for the match last night wouldn't be quite legal, so if you do have an answer for the OP, please PM it. Thanks.

I watched a doc on Scott Hall not that long ago and he was almost dead then. Some low level douche promotor let him get carried to the ring by two guys, he couldn't even stand on his own. It was sick to watch. When they asked Hall about it he didn't even remember getting on the plane to fly there.

Just go to isohunt and download the torrent if you want all of WM. I just got done watching the Taker HHH match and it was great.

This sounds a little like the movie, The Wrestler (old guy continuing to wrestle long after his prime). Interesting film but not sure I would have watched it without Marisa Tomei getting naked.

Hey The Wrestler was a great movie.

Marisa Tomei being naked was very excellent... However I sat through the Black Swan and still debate whether the two minutes that were good offset the two hours that absolutely blew.

Quite certain he was always a drug addict.

Worth a view if you have 20 minutes.

Your gonna compare wrestling to movies really? Of course the actors know what gonna happen in a movie but we always don't. You maybe able to figure it out if your really into the movie. But wrestling is predictable and you pretty much already know what will happen.

  • The Rock Cena match was a good match... kinda throwback like 80's wrestling. A lot of actual wrestling. I thought it would be much cooler if the rock lost, not because I don't like him I just think everyone knew the rock was going to win, him losing in Miami on his return would have been epic. That said wrestlemainia sucked. Sat four hours and watched alot of garbage to get that one match.

On a different note who is everyone's favorite wrestler? Mine... Diamond Dallas Paige. DDP baby, Self High Five!!! Followed by the Ultimate Warrior and Bret Hart.

  • Marissa Tomei got naked about 15 years too late... it was still good but would have much rather preferred her getting naked in something like My Cousin Vinny, as long as Joe Pesci wasn't involved.

  • Have not watched wrestling since The Rockers split. I was about 8 at the time lol

The Wrestler was good. Black Swan still trips me out. It wasn't really a good flick, but I certainly won't ever forget it. My wife dances, so she wanted to see it...but she likes 'happy' things. I warned her, but she thought I was exaggerating so we wouldn't go. It was a bit of an unpleasant surprise...lol.

He is my all-time favorite wrestler.

No one sold like Hall. Flair was a little over the top.

Loved the E:60, although it was very sad to see how miserable his life is. Hope he finds some peace in his life before it's too late.

You know because it's not real

I stopped liking wrestling once I grew up too, but I find this whole "scripted" and "not real" argument completely moronic.

There's plenty of reasons to dislike it, but this isn't one of them (unless you don't like anything that's scripted).

Well the whole premise of watching an event rooting for a pre-determined outcome is quite silly. If I want to do that I'll just watch the NBA as the acting is much better.

Anyway, once Ted Dibiasi and IRS lost to the brothers back in the 90s I stopped.
