Flying back to Philly by myself today for a member-guest tournament. I don't get to pick the music at home so listening to Cross Canadian Ragweed, Zac Brown and Elvis Costello, amongst others, is a nice treat.

Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters put on a great show and jammed together after the show which was awesome. Oleander/3Doors Down/Fuel in one show was great too. Violent Femmes Some others but not trying to change the theme of the thread here.
Todays listening had some Nirvana heading to and from the Nephews T-ball game (Highlight song I will go with Lake of Fire)

Seen Metallica twice. Awesome shows. One show was right after Hetfield got his arm burned. Also seen U2('88?) right after Bono injured his shoulder.

Yeah they are.
I'm not positive, but I think they got their start in Stillwater.

However, its only Billy Corgan a bunch of yes men (and women). Also, from what I could tell on a quick listen this album rehashes a lot of hooks from Siamese Dream and other albums from when the original band was still around. I absolutely love the SP of old but this Billy Corgan vanity project is lost on me.
Edit: I should add that the SP have always been a BC vanity project but this is to a new level...

For anyone in the NYC area...Mumford & Sons just announced they are starting their summer tour with a show on Hoboken's Pier A. As a resident of Hoboken I felt obligated and bought myself some tickets on the pre-sale today. Rest of tix go on sale tomorrow. Should be a great show!

No problem. Looks like if you follow the link on that page they are still selling pre-sale tickets but the max went down to 4. They were letting you buy 8 this morning.
Should be a lot of fun watching the show w/ NYC in the background. Wonder what kind of capacity they are selling to.

First time sitting down and learning a few songs off of El Camino by the Black Keys on the old acoustic. "Sister" is probably my favorite track on the album.
