Yeah, I get it, but "I dont know if it's me"... Just say nice things and wait... Go see other schools. MD wants him. he has options. No need to go and say, I dunno if its me... If he were to say "this place is for me," then word would get out to other schools that he's as good as gone to PSU if he gets an offer. Why would they waste their time on a kid they have almost no shot of landing?

You don't have to do that. But Moody, and countless others didn't get an offer, and didnt diss PSU. They will get other offers and didnt diss PSU to do so. I dunno. I dunno if its the place for me... Its nice, but I dunno. Pause... lol Cmon son.

He is not "diss"ing PSU. You are making assumptions off limited Intel. Maybe he is one capable of remaining balanced emotionally....
He had a good visit and there will be more to the story coming before long . Let the stories all come out from all over.

Why does everybody give these kids such a hard time on here? Hey if they choose not to come to PSU then so be it. Who knows what is really being said to them or what is going on in their own family discussions. Granted I would hope they don't badmouth us, but if they choose to go to ugly schools like Mich or ND we just have to understand. Then on the days we play that team we can dislike them severely. I for one sure wouldn't have had a clue had anyone come and offered me a scholarship in high school.

He carpet bombed the nation once he got in and got five LBs in the most recent class. Not too much room - probably only one this year. It's not rocket science.

agreed - its a surprise if we keep top PA talent, and its a shocker if we even have a shot at any top Ohio talent...just the way it is.

O'Brien has a huge handicap given the Sandusky issue. May take more than 2 years before we really know how good BO'B can recruit on a level field. I'm feeling positive vibes so far with how agressively he and his staff is recruiting for PSU. But, I remain realistic in my expectations as to how he and his staff stand up against the competition from thier OSU counterparts. tOSU has the edge until tPSU gets some distance behind them with respect to the Sandusky problem. That said, I really like the energy I see from the BO'B contingent. I'm thinking he and his staff can rejuvenate our tarnished image. And at the very least I am loving the new staffs' commitment and work ethic. Which, is a good reason to be optimistic about our program's future these days, IMHO.
