I was a Champ's havin a few Cold one's look over across the way and said that look's like Breneman an hackenberg havin dinner with there family so i waited til they were finish with dinner an went over there an started chatin with them about PSu an ask them if there will be an good news comin about Dw an other's an they just Smiled an than they said there will be good new's comin soon with DW an thank them for there time which i thought was pretty cool to meet them just wanted to share with this guy's!

Guys, do not talk to recruits on facebook and twitter. It doesn't matter if it is innocent or not, don't do it. It's 100% fine to follow them, but don't talk to them at all. It's just asking for trouble.

I remember reading that actually, and i pretty much agree. Was just being a smart a$$. I do think though that its going to be hard to stop fans, especially when top recruits like Breneman tell PSU twitter followers to show love to some of these potential commits

Well it was discussed earlier in this thread. Sean was told from the staff that they were none to thrilled about so many people starting to talk to recruits.

It wasn't relayed from coaches to fans to not talk to them. It was Sean saying that the coaches and compliance knew about one particular blogger and didn't like it. But really, unless you're trying to convince them to come to PSU and you're a booster its not a violation. Its just a fine line.

I agree with not talking to recruits and all, but fans of different teams are doing it at a very high rate. I saw today a guy who sent one of our recruits a message saying why he should commit to Notre Dame over us. Myself I do not follow any recruits until they sign a LOI.

Yes. So if you got on Twitter and tried to convince a kid to come to PSU it could get us in trouble with the NCAA. That's why its scary and a fine line, especially when were in the position we are in because of Sandusky. Scroll back a few pages and you'll see a great discussion on it.

I don't think there is one person on this site that ISN'T considered a booster.
This is the kind of thing that the NCAA would do nothing about... unless they were already snooping around trying to find something to nail a school on. The NCAA is snooping around PSU right now. Just sayin...

The NCAA can't tell people to not verbally push recruits towards a school and no way can the NCAA hold that university responsible, I do think people following recruits and showing a university support plays a very small part in that prospect selecting a university! But this should be common sense among adults that hounding a recruit via social networking is just not right imho

Breneman is relentless on the recruiting front it appears about a half hour ago he tweeted Drennon to hit his phone up. Thats the way AB get in his ear at 9am .. do work !
