    Wheres that thread where somebody was saying PSU didnt have girls that were as hot as other schools again?

    Spend one hour on campus at FSU, Bama, USF, Georgia, Ole Miss and you'll understand. I love PSU and there a very few things I would admit to being "second fiddle' there, but in the metric of "hot chicks per capita", there are some clear leaders.

Soft noses rather than big pointy ones, if you catch my drift.We also have the allure of the sun, which draws the pretty immigrants to the South, producing a "skimming" effect which leaves the lesser product north of the M/D line.

    I'm not saying there aren't beautiful Italian, German, Polish girls up north - there certainly are. But I've been to MANY games at PSU and northern schools, and I live in DC, and I spent the first twenty years of my life in the Deep South and FL, and I'm just telling you, there's no comparison. As one of my friends so aptly put it, "the North is full of 6's who think they're 10's; the South is full of 10's who think they're 6's".

    As for the people saying that this topic is highjacking the twitter thread, that train left the station loooong before this. This is now the "surprise bag" thread.

    This post cuts right to the heart of the matter. Different strokes for different folks. It all depends on what you considered "hot" or "beautiful". If your definition is blond and WASPy, maybe the south is better. If you like a little diversity, the north may be better.

    Have you looked at the last 45 pages of posts? I was with you two days ago, but this thread has gone completely off the tracks - much like the North, you may find a few "hot girl" twitter stragglers here, but they will be few and far between... biggrin

    So why would you want to make it go farther off the tracks? Just start a new thread on debates between northern vs. southern girls. I for one want to be able to see twitter posts again.

    I don't understand these kind of complaints. These OT posts are not replacing Twitter posts. I'd rather see more tweets also. There just haven't been many to see.

  • I'm not saying that it isn't valid to discuss other things. I just think its a pain from an organization standpoint. If I come to this thread I'm expecting to see tweets and its a pain to have to scroll through all of the other various crap. Personally, I just feel a lot of these posts could go in a new thread or another thread where its obvious that there is no specific topic to the thread.

  • I see both points. Looking at te history though. Twitter posts started dying down a lot so I think people(myself especially) tried to fill time while waiting for new posts. Which never game. And from there it just kept snowballing

    This is very true. I grew up in a philly suburb that has a rather high jewish population. Most of the jewish girls I knew from high school went to Penn State, Maryland or Towson.

    I am not one for jewish girls though. I am half Italian and Italian women are very similar to Jewish women imo. I find both kind of annoying.

    I think we have over stayed our welcome in this thread, come on lets bounce!
