    He has already been. They've been chatting a lot. I did the "Twitter Introduce" between the 2 by sending Bench Switzers film and tagging Switz Twitter username on it and Bench loved the film and has been trying to pull him a few times already. Switz replied to Bench one time by saying something like "u wont stop until I commit to PSU" or something similar, it was great.

    lol, I've just been sending Bench new recruits usernames, hoping he will go to work because the kid has a personality and loves to Tweet 100 times a day. Too bad he is not a 4-5 star, but still, he is a likable southern kid.

    Good to see Daquan recruiting now. Seems like they know each other already from previous.

    As I stated earlier, this most recent class is going to be instrumental in recruiting for the next few years. They chose to come to PSU, when it wasn't cool due to the outrage of the nation over the scandal. They will be the ones who have to convey why they chose PSU to these recruits and their parents.

    Its nice people are reaching out to players to make them feel welcome, but make sure you don't cross the line between encouraging and harassing.

  • I definitely get that. I started following all of these guys right about the time they started tweeting each other and I'm not going to lie and say I wasn't feeling slightly creepy doing so. I've avoided actually contacting them because frankly I think there are plenty of people who's job it is to keep us informed of such things (its another argument all together whether that is justified...).

    It is nice to get a sense of what kind of people we are recruiting, however, and frankly I've been very impressed with the quality of their personalities...even on Twitter. They all seem like great Penn Staters in waiting.

    Hoops commit Brandon Austin was at the game today, the fans apparently made him feel at home.

    Wow that could be kind of scary. But then I do not know the young man. It just always makes me a bit cautious of an individual when they refer to themselves in some form of deity to the public. Just to reiterate my statement I do not know the young man and he may be very humorous or have a deeper meaning.

  • I completely agree. I am definitely not crossing the line. Actually only sent over a couple people whose film I liked and thought Bench might like.
