    No, he still recruits at a very very high level. Switzer isn't high enough on the totem pole for Kiffin to come east for. Bigelow was.

    And Bigelow has ehem "issues".

    Just because Switzer is not a 4/5 star by the recruiting services does not mean anything to these coaches. They know a lot more about the recruits than we do. Just based on Switzer's film and his 7 on 7 film, the kid is good, albeit against bad competition. But I have never seen a player completely blow by other players that have a 40 yd angle on him. The kid also has some of the best hands I have seen based on his film and particularly his 7 on 7 film.

    It might not be Kiffin meeting him, but I do not doubt one bit that USC is gonna visit him.

    No offense, but do you know the types of talents and skill players USCw recruits? Again, not a knock on Switzer, but he isn't a USCw type of recruit Kiffin flies across country to talk to.

    I live about 5 minutes from Red Lion Christian Academy, I coach little league on the fields there, and the team is often times doing summer workouts on the field, they had built. They spent over 5 Million for their practice field, to make it sport turf. RLCA has many many issues, and one of them is that they tend to push the kids through, regardless of the grade, if the kid is athletic.

    Personally, I wouldn't recruit any kid from RLCA, but that's just me.

    Whatever you say. Fact is USC told him they are going to be visiting him in April. It is to be seen if they actually follow through if he is not committed to PSU by then. Tell them they dont recruit the Switzer's of the world, who is a very solid football player. Not a track runner who plays football i.e. Devon Smith, so I have no reason why you think so lowly of Switzer.

    I'm not alone in this thinking. There certainly are several others on this board who will question this until we see pictures of said USCw coach visiting. I have watched USC over the last decade more times and he doesn't fit the profile of a USCw type of recruit. I don't think lowly of him as I think he actually would have a role at PSU. I don't see him fitting into what USCw is all about. Name the last 5-9 white slot receiver from the east coast that USC has lined up. I'll wait ...

    Over the last three classes, they have signed as receivers ...

    Blackwell - 6-1
    Rogers - 6-2
    Farmer - 6-2
    Woods - 6-1
    Prater - 6-5
    Ambles - 6-2

    They go after over 6-0 athletic types who go DOWNFIELD, not run bubblescreens.

    Again, he definately has a role for PSU and what it tries to do, but not USCw. Watch a USC game and you will see what I'm talking about.

    Does anyone think if we bring in o'brien that it will affect Hack's recruitment?
    Also, what are the chances that bolden transfers if we get him? It's pretty much BO'B saying there's no confidence in the current depth chart. McGloin doesn't have the eligibility left to make a transfer worthwhile IMO.
