I think we can get him with a lot of work and dedication from the staff (and from AB and Hack) lol

Haha true, but we could go back to the Corey Dillon year right! It is a shame the rb was never a stud in OB's offense.

I just can't imagine we will throw as much as New England. 40 times a game seems like a lot ... Who knows though, it could happen.

If winning was easy even losers would do it.

As another patriot fan, I don't think David Williams compares at all to BJGE because greenellis is more of a power guy that you can trust will never turn the ball over. I see the potential of what Stevan Ridley may be doing in 5 years as a better comparison to Williams. Switzer may serve as both Welker and Woodhead as an occasional change of pace guy. Love the Foster: Moss comparison. Let's also have AB and Hack get after Mike McGlinchey : Nate Solder (being extremely tall and lean tackles), Dorian Johnson : Matt Light (pretty tall and strong), Brendan Mahon : Dan Connolly (Mahon could be much more than the jack of all trades that Connolly is, but itd be a reach to compare him to brian waters or Logan mankins who are two of the best guards if the last decade). On to the defensive side, I know OB didn't coach defense in NE, but I thought the comps would be fun anyway. Deeb : Brandon Spikes (hard, reckless hitters with decent instincts-an old school mike), Anzalone : Mike Vrabel (have to go back in time a couple years but Mike Vrabel comps well), Vanderdoes : Richard Seymour (don't know if we have a real shot at him, but if we hop back in the time machine again hell destroy lines just like Seymour), Boyd : Pat Chung (no rational here just that they both play safety and are thin). That's all I got.

Don't you think the Patriots would have preferred to have a solid RB? Wouldn't the Pats have been a better team if they had one? In the end, wasn't it NE's inability to kill the clock what cost them in the Superbowl?

This will be a 'gameplan' offense, not a 'pass only' offense.

PSU will need a downhill threat in this conference; especially as the QBs develop. Bad weather, wind, less pressure on defense, road games, etc.

PSU's RB will develop as a runner, blocker, and receiver. He probably won't be given 30+ carries / game, instead he'll develop a full skill set, with enough carries left in his legs for the pros.

Not to mention, Coach London is fresh off a stint with the Titans (C. Johnson & Ringer are pretty good). S&C means a better OLine...

I think that PSU would be a great opportunity for a RB.

agreed, i also think having hack back there will free up the box a bit more so teams aren't 9 in the box to stop the run as some teams have been doing

He tweeted "awesome!" in celebration when Breneman picked PSU. He also talked to his own relatives about how great things were going for Penn State on twitter.
Breneman and Hack are also in constant contact with him. He will be ours before long.
Switzer is one of the last guys you need to worry about.

hope he is better then D. Smith, the amount of big time catches he has dropped (huge momentum plays) has taken years off of my life

When I watch Switz's video I see a football player, where D. Smith looks like a track guy trying to do football. I would like to see more of Switz catching the ball in his video - but I think the kid will be a contributer on Special Teams and on O if he should decide to come to PSU.

The last staff didn't know how to use Devon.

JMO, but I think he will be one of the guys to surprise come next season. Not because he got much better as a WR, but because BOB understands how to fit a system around his personnel, and that its a bad idea to run fades and corners with a 5'8 kid.
