@EpicTripod: Just spoke with PA LB Alex Anzalone, who confirmed the PSU letter snafus, but said it didn't really affect his perception of the Lions.

In addition to the Anzalone thing, we are not a lock yet. He said he is going back to Columbus at the end of the month.

Also regarding Anzalone, he is making a West Coast trip in April, so unless we completely wow him this weekend, I don't expect a commit from him to anywhere for at least another month and a half.

Word was it was to be completed May 1st... Not even by the BW game... I wish it was done by BW just so everyone could physically see it... Not just pics of what it is going to look like... Maybe some of it will be done... I don't know if May 1st was the day of FULL completion (meaning there may be some of it done), or if some of it will be done but it just won't be able to go full throttle with the entire team working out simultaneously- which Fitzy wants to do with every workout...

Vandy needs to step up and flex some muscle here too... Best LB coach in the country goes a long way... I hope the players are back by then too... Mauti can sell a lot... Hodges, etc. Show him how he can fit right in at LBU

Great to hear Anzalone is visiting this weekend. Since when did Michigan fill up at LB? I knew McCray committed, who else? Gedeon?
In my opinion, this is Butler's first big challenge. London succeeded at his with Hackenberg. We need Butler to be a factor in recruiting and I'd love to see him pull in Anzalone with the competition we're facing for his services.

Actually he IS the 50th best player in the nation according to Rivals unless their website is lying. Clearly that is just the opinion of one scouting service and your opinion is just as valid as anyone else's. But, no offense intended, but I'll take the opinions of the coaches that offered him over yours or ANY of the services. I have a hard time believing 100 kids let alone 247 have better offer lists than Sickels.

Bills, Gedeon is my bet who they are holding the last spot open for.
And I agree about Butler, I think he could be a fine recruiter for us and this is a tough one to cut his teeth on, but if he can reel him in we got a winner on our hands.
