What I said repeatedly was that people shouldn't be bashing him prior to his decision. I stand by what I said, and I stand by the fact that I think he handled it well, no matter how disappointed I am by his decision and his statement today. He kept his mouth shut and handled his business quickly and efficiently. I think his decision sucks, and I was surprised by it. Doesn't justify the bs that was spewed on here for three days, and had he decided differently, would have been totally unjustified. Trashing kids who are still on the team for looking around is bush league.

Nothing I said in the post above contradicts that - wouldn't have supported trashing him even had I known how it would play out. He's not who I thought he was - made a decision based solely on a desire for personal gratification rather than his teammates. Doesn't make him a horrible person, just means he wasn't the high character, principled guy I thought he was, at least not in this instance.

@Lions247: Family sources have confirmed that freshman wide receiver Jonathan Warner will stay at Penn State. He is the son of fmr PSU RB Curt Warner.
