    There are lots of writers, columnists, Mark Emmerts that want kids like Silas Redd to leave PSU. It makes for a good story. One of the best and most focal images of the success and dignity of PSU football to up and leave for USC to win championships is an eye catching story... No one really cares in the OL from Arizona leaves. Emmert wants 50 Silas Redd's to leave... that makes the story richer.

    Because every PSU kid that transfers supports the theory that they were only there for football.

    Every player that stays proves that PSU is much more than football, and that would fly right in the face of the script that Emmert presented.

    If 0 players transfer, he gets exposed for completely making up this football-first narrative. That would prove that PSU is so much more than football.

    Haha, I thought the exact same thing. By the way, in response to the Lynch tweet, anyone who doesn't realize by now that Lynch is staying at PSU either hasn't been paying attention or is a little slow on the uptake. Kid is all PSU all the way.

    Theres a video that says we slipped with him and have a lot of ground to make up. He's visiting Florida... Doesn't look good for us TBH. Dave Williams also has a video that doesn't look good for us either. Time will tell, but it looks like Barnwell is moving on. I hope the staff stays after him though. Williams is very frustrating.

    Nope, quite the opposite for Barnwell. Was just going to post this on the board - PSU is basically out. He was respectful and polite, but essentially said he wants to play for championships, he's a competitive guy, then just tailed off. PSU is done for Nadir unless Obie and crew can pull some kind of crazy magic (focus on the two bowl eligible years or something).

    Based on the interview, I'd say FL - he seemed enthusiastic about them, lukewarm on Rutgers, and colder than ice on PSU

    Redd - USC
    Haplea - Temple, RU
    Kersey - probably gone
    Fera - Texas
    Zwinak - waiting until probably August 1st when Redd makes his decision
    Dukes - considering Syracuse

    Barnwell - no longer considering PSU
    Ross Douglas - committed to Michigan
    Nelson - UMD a possibility with strong family ties there

    So far 4 of our verbals are coming to PSU this weekend (AB, Hack, Mahon and Sickels) - sure hope Nelson and DJ come this weekend. Ross Douglas showing up would be huge but very doubtful.

    Feel free to add to this list, I just created this list off the top of my head, am getting confused with who is staying and who is/might be gone. I thought it'd be easier to put together a list of who has stated a probability of leaving.

    what about Pollard, Wartman, Dowrey, Lynch.....interested to hear about those of the 2012 class. Lynch is key and so is Pollard and nobody talking about them. Lynch might be more important than Redd because of eligibility
