    I understand the sentiment, although I agree the analogy is extreme.

    As I've said elsewhere, he is already turning his back on his teammates. I'm admittedly shocked that he wasn;t one of the first to declare he was staying, and I am extremely disappointed in the way things have gone.

    The young guys I figured would bolt.... Not the JR/SR guys..... Maybe he takes a step back but USC has sucked in many a talented guys and ruined them. Redd reminds me of Coffee Black in that Will Ferrell movie.... A champion getting water for McNeal

    No, those are law enforcement officials who swore an oath to eachother in a field that is literally life and death. These kids are teammates and competitors in a game. They had their ultimate on field goal of winning a title, any title, taken away from them. That hurts. I have no issue with any kid leaving. Its an awful situation. Silas is doing what is right for him and doing it in a classy enough way.

    Your comparison sucked. I find it disrespectful to compare law enforcement officials, of which I have many friends in that field, to kids playing a game.

  • Sorry Silas if you bolt you are weak. A little adversity and yu bolt on your psu brothers. Cowardly and shocking I thought you were of higher character than that, this wreaks of nfl free agency and it feels as though college football lost some of its purity.

  • Let me be brutally honest. Redd is a nice running back but not a game changer, in fact outside of a 30 yard td run vs northwestern I don't recall any big runs. Redd isnt a burner but a shifty back who runs hard. A combination of Rbs will suffice if he bails.

    And sorry nothing changed that much for Silas that he should bail on his brothers and the university that embraced him. It says a lot about his character. Grass ain't always greener Silas, in fact at USC I bet he hardly gets in, which is disastrous for his nfl aspirations. At psu, he carries the load in a pro style offense !

    Wisconsin coaches have already been on the recruiting trail with current PSU players over the past several days. I have a feeling Bielema's comments are a direct result of none of the PSU players showing interest in transferring to Wisconsin and knowing that, now Bielema releases this statement to make himself look good.

    I believe the only "honest" part of that post may be that you can't recall any other big runs.
