    Edit: Benton had a write up yesterday... Issah is the mystery. Dumb on my part... Hopefully we see some commits in the next 24 hrs.

    PSU is giving Issah a week and he's not ready to pull the trigger...just hasn't visited enough schools yet IMO

    I don't like this pressure tactic. Kids may feel pressure if the slots at their positions start being taken by other commits, but nothing good can come from a deadline.

    You can say it is being up front with kids, but it may lead to soft verbals, and bad news down the road. Get on the ball, do your due diligence, and make an informed decision. Once thats done, there's no point in waiting, but if he is still in the exploration stage, .. well, he may have the field narrow itself.

    When is it? Maybe his delay in committing is all a smokescreen for committing at a high profile event to get more pub for Penn State.

    I'm ok with it. Issah may need to wait until signing day, and he's a nice player but PSU obviously doesn't believe he's an elite talent to wait for him do decide. I don't blame PSU at all for saying "Hey, if you want in this class here is your chance. After this you might not have a spot." PSU obviously feels comfortable with a number of other players or they wouldn't be pulling this.

    Bradshaw is a very real possibility and a darn good player... I would love to have Issah... But it's his choice. He gets along with AB and there is a definite spot for him right now... We look to be his best offer at this point too... I dunno. If I were him, I'd pull the trigger and have my parents come see me play on Saturdays. But I just have to hope he thinks like me biggrin

    Too bad for him. I don't blame the staff at all. There are a bunch of equal or better options than Issah. They give the local kid the first chance to come aboard if he doesn't take it than he's SOL.
