That said, I'm becoming slightly optimistic with Foster. Even though we haven't actually heard anything from him, I feel like we have a better than zero chance (which is what I had thought before). Not a good chance, but better than I expected.

To be honest I dont know if you can really read that much into this. I'd wait to hear what he thinks of Penn State before I get excited about our chances.

After taking five linebackers last year and the fact he isn't the top dog on their list this year, I wouldn't be too sure about that.

Well, Anzalone is seriously interested in them now, but when it's all said and done and when he analyzes all of his options no I dont think he will end up at OSU...but you got my point.

I heard someone say he doesn't speak to the media at all and won't until he decides. Not sure if it's true, but he's been very quiet in his recruitment. Doubt you'll hear much.

Foster would be so huge.
Here are some tweets between him and Cox about a Michigan State visit coming up. Not reading too much into it but it looks like MSU could be a player here.
Cox definitely seems to be trying to work on him.
