    Jshank Jshank @shank24 @psufootball @Hard_Hitz_Ny BOB lost our top 5 recruits. 4 of them went to OSU. He replaced 4/5 star guys with 0-3 star guys.

    I don't think we need to keep all responses VIP. The twitter posts aren't VIP, anyone should be able to see them and discuss them, and it excludes the non-VIP people on this board.

  • I like twitter but hate the setup, the handles and @ signs are freaking confusing. Why can't they just use names like in Facebook. I like it for content but hate using it.... so I'm glad people are posting here!

  • I am THE most avidly anti-twitter person I have ever met in my generation. I'm 23, and could not hate it more. I think it is an extremely pompous, and arrogant tool used only to boost the user's own ego. One thing I respect about Urban Meyer (maybe the only thing) is that upon arriving at tO$U...he banned all players from using twitter.

    That being said, I like what I am seeing from these kids, and think this is an awesome thread moving forward.

  • Just FYI, for anyone who might want to follow twitter happenings without actually signing up for twitter: if you have Gmail, you can follow twitter subscriptions in the Google Reader function. Click "subscribe," and copy and paste the link from the twitter account. It should then add it to your account and you can follow it from Google. That's what I use.

    That is fiction..Meyer did not ban players from twitter.

    Banning Twitter usage by his players was one of the first things Chambers did when he arrived in State College.
