Saw this over on the Blue Board. Posters seem pretty up in arms over the rankings but since AB finally got his 5th star I'll allow it!

He's also got 38 kids at 5* - seems like a heck of a lot to me.
Is it just me, or do other people not see 5* in Max Browne's film? No doubt he's good, but it seems like all he does for 8 minutes or so is chuck it downfield to a bunch of fast WR's who get behind the defense.

I believe ESPN has AB as a five star.

I read earlier on ESPN that they thought he was the best TE recruit to come along in years. I would be surprised if he wasn't a five star there.

I saw the same thing Bills all I saw were these bomb fades took forever to see him actually throw an intermediate range ball. His wr core is the real deal.

Yeah, there was an article from ESPN saying that and that he will be the first 5 star TE (or maybe it was the first in a long time).

Didn't they say the same thing about O'Leary last season? They had him as a 5* to start with, but took it away because they said no TE justifies a 5* ranking.
I feel like ESPN has an extremely short memory when it comes to recruiting.

Exactly.
It befuddles me that people who actually follow recruiting ever bring up their rankings or coverage. ESPECIALLY when they have a sub to 247. Makes no sense.
O'Leary was also a very good TE, but AB is a lil better. I am biased though.

I guess Courtney Love finally gave up on her career in music. Looks like a good choice being that she's ranked as the 96th best player in the country. Might have some off the field issues though.

Didn't really care for these ratings. Probably because only 3 posible PSU players were on it. I think we could have about 7 to 9 potential players in the top 100.
