Be prepared to spend $300+/night for a hotel in state college - minimum stay of 2 nights - even at Hampton inns and quality inns, if you can even get a reservation this late. Minimum number of hotels take advantage of football weekends. Suggest looking at hotels 45 minutes - 1 hour outside state college if want more normal room rates.

Hello there! MSU fan here. My girlfriend and I are coming to State college for the Wisky game. I've never been to Pennsylvania (we both live in Ann Arbor) and she has been to multiple games, but with her parents (PSU grads). My question is, aside from visiting the diner and old main, what is there to do? To be honest I've never traveled this far to see a football game, so advice on where to stay would be welcomed too.
Thanks in advance

You find out life's this game of inches, so is football. Because in either game, life or football-the margin for error is so small. -Pacino

Just posted this in the twitter thread, but thought this might be something fun to do and get to see the campus and downtown.

Two writers took a ride on the @VamosLion Chariot, the coolest new way to get around campus. See the video here: http://onward.st/W7fi63
