I think FJP gets up every morning and pisses in his own cereal! As a Philly fan, your posts kinda feel like sour grapes. On the subject of you and your happiness, I would just love to hear something positive from/or about you. Life's too short to be this pissed about everything! Cheer up and try to have a good day!

I am not crying woe is me. Like I said we have plenty of jackasses here in the Philly region. I am just saying attacking the bad behavior of Philly fans is just tired, lazy and cliche. Because SH*T happens everywhere.

And By the way, since you mentioned the national anthem, quite a few times the Eagles got a blind kid named Timmy to do the national anthem and he brought the house down. A crowd favorite everytime he performed.

We booed the frisbee dogs at halftime, but Timmy got roaring applause.

Now I get it. He's got an excess of Natitude right now and he's gearing it all towards Philly.

Phillies fans hating on the Nats has a lot to do with jealousy. You wish you had our players on your team, but have decimated your farm system to have a really good team for a few years...but that's looking more like a blip on the radar.

The Nats have had more injuries to important players and a similar lack of offense, and are still battling for first in the NL east. The phillies are paying the most and winning the least.

We have Harper under team control until 2018. No secret we probably won't keep him, but a lot can happen between now and then.

Since I can tell you are knew to following baseball I will help you out. This has little to nothing to do with jealousy but more of checking on the younger brother. Perhaps you can equate this to PSU fans wanting updates on Pitt or Rutgers programs. Some times it is just fun to see how other teams and their ridiculous fans are doing. The ONLY 2 players that you have on your team that I would want on mine are Ryan Zimmerman and Strasburg. Don't start cramming Harper down my throat...I know you are taking a month's worth of ball and claiming the Nat's as the beast of the east but I need to see more out of Harp's before I would take him. Congrats on your young stars and while you are bringing up contracts, congrats as well on Jayson Wirth, have fun with that contract...

More injuries to important players??? Perhaps you have heard of Ryan Howard and Chase Utley...better known as the middle of the Phillies line up and possible HOFer's if they can get and remain healthy. The injuries of these 2 stars changes that whole lineup as their is no longer a true clean up hitter on the team.

Sub .500 ball??? In case you are just becoming acquainted with a calendar as well the season is VERY long and a team that won 102 games last year is not all of a sudden going to win half of their games. Enjoy first place for now cause if the Phillies don't take it over the Braves will.

Look, I hear you. I have never denied jackasses exist in Philly. I have witnessed Philly fans act exactly as you have described. But it really and truely happens just about everywhere. To think obnoxious behavior is confined to southeastern PA is inaccurate, and to label Philly sports fas as being the most classless is just lazy and cliche. Plenty of stories come out of other venues that support the fact that jackasses are everywhere.

Yes. Every opposing fan here gets his or her ass beat. I ride the subway every day with opposing fans and have never seen one assault. Not that it doesn't happen, it obviously does at some point. But it's not rampant.

Oh, and how about that Sixers season being over last week like you predicted. Did that come true? I haven't seen the scores anywhere.

Phillies fans are definitely bandwagon fans. Nobody watched when they sucked. I won't argue that. I used to go to empty games at the Vet all the time. Nobody cared before CBP was built. Most of the Phillies fans today couldn't tell you a thing about the Francona days.
