Sens take game 2 in OT. 1-1 going back to Ottawa. Hank is incredible, took some real flukey goals to take him down.

I have to miss the Flyers/Pens game tomorrow, should be good.
It's true great minds think alike. Jagr came out and said that Couturier reminds him of Ron Francis. This is who I thought he reminded me of before the Flyers drafted him. I don't see him as Jordan Staal at all. They are just the same height.

T - 3.5 hrs...
A third win by the flyers today would all but end this series. A win by the Pens would give them life but IMO this baby's already over. Saw a stat today: Flyers are 17-0 all time when getting up 2-0 in a playoff series.

Is there anything better than playoff hockey? I am a flyers fan but I can honestly say at this time of year I just love watching any game that is on. The games last night were just awesome! Looking forward to another great day of hockey starting with Red Wings at home vs the Preds. Hockeytown will be in full effect.
And good luck pens fans. If the flyers drop this game today I think the series is still anyone's to have. Should be interesting to see if the flyers fall behind at home and how the crowd reacts. Could put a lot of pressure of my flyboys which is not always a good thing. I think it is a lot easier to come back on the road than it is at home.

In order for this to go far, the penguins need to take 2, and they have to win today in dominant fashion, and then take care of game 4.

I wouldn't count out the penguins just yet. If there is any team that can make it a series, its one with two of the best players in the league. Plus, Fleury could get hot and steal a game. I'm personally hoping for the sweep though

As a Yankees fan, I think back to game 3 in 2004. We obliterated to Red Sux.
Game 4, we got up early and had Mo to close it out. Dave FN Roberts gets on (maybe a pinch runner) and that was that. The Red Sux had life.
For the Pens its about 1 day at a time. 1 game, 1 period, 1 shift.
The flyers do NOT want the Penguins to gain even a little confidence. A talented team is a scary team. A talented team that is against the wall is a more scary team. A talented team, against the wall with confidence is the most scary team.
A Pittsburgh win gives the team confidence and their backs are still against the wall.
I am a Pens guy but Philly needs to come out and put their foot on the throats early. You just can't keep falling behind 2 and 3 to nothing.

Gotcha. I don't think dominant vs. crap win make a difference though. I don't think there would be more of a confidence bump from a 5-1 win than a sloppy 5-4 OT win. They just need to get it done and prove to themselves they can do it.
