This has just been an epic offensive set of games thus far. You really can't fault the goalies all that much. Certainly there are saves they could have made but not a whole lot you can say they should have made. That really speaks to the amount of talent these two teams boast. A joy to watch...
...especially as a Flyers fan!

This is why I like how FIFA does their Ballon d'Or. Wait until all major competition is over. In college lacrosse it is the same.
An MVP doesn't disappear in the playoffs. That is a fact. Take a player like Joe Thornton. He has won the MVP and was considered one of the best in the game. He never showed up in the playoffs. Same goes for Ovechkin, who never really showed up in the playoffs following an MVP season. Like freaking Corey Perry won last year! Corey Perry is a great player, but he is not the MVP.

I have seen him play, he tends to disappear. Don't get me wrong Thornton is one of my favorite players. I like the pass first players.

You obviously haven't seen him play since the Anaheim choke a few years ago.
Unless you mean Marleau. He absolutely turns into a ghost for games at a time.

This is the most likable Flyers team in a while. Good personalities all around. Imagine if Pronger were in, he'd be great to watch in this series.

Hopefully this series isn't over. In 2000 the Pens won games 1 and 2 in Phili and then lost the next 4. Time to return the favor?

I stand corrected...the Penguins will need to score ten goals a game to beat the Flyers. Giroux is out of his mind. He has been unstoppable so far. Flyers are looking like the Stanley Cup favorites right now. I am impressed, and I am a Penguins fan. Wow!

Agreed. They looked ready to beat the rags last week and ended up getting spanked early and not being able to come back. Until the rags are out, I'll consider them the solid favorite over the flyers. That said, go sens!

Its like this:
Pens beat Flyers, they are the favorites given their record vs rest of east teams.
Flyers beat Pens, the rangers are the favorites. They don't lose to Philly but can't beat Pens.
Rest of the east is irrelevant. One of the 3 division teams will go to finals. Philly, Pittsburgh or NYR

Agree. Glad we got rid of the cancer - Carter, Richie.
Pronger's prescence on the ice makes every player that much better.
