Flyers started the period off at 11 shots to 0 in favor of the Devils and had 0 chances on two power plays. They earned getting booed, hopefully it woke em up.

When you play a period like that you deserve it. I'm sure the team will acknowledge as much. Philly fans only need to see effort and it just was not there in the first.

Wellwood is a straight up burner. His speed alone set up Talbot's chance a few minutes ago. Only stopped by an amazing save by Brodeur. Also that penalty was due to his breakaway.

Yeah he is. It also helped that everyone on the ice was gassed from a long attack on the power play, making Wellwood's great speed look superhuman.

Bryz's five hole looks like Leighton's. Cost the Flyers a cup two years ago, hopefully something gets fixed.

Devils were lucky to get to OT today. Hopefully that play from the Flyers continues Tuesday.
