im sorry, the rest of the NHL doesnt like crosby as much as you think... Hatcher got penalized for that, nobodies forgetting it. you cant keep pointing to it everytime someone calls out crosby for being a baby. every action he did today screamed "whiney b****"
You find out life's this game of inches, so is football. Because in either game, life or football-the margin for error is so small. -Pacino

They might not like Crosby, but those who like hockey and are intelligent about the game respect Crosby's skill in the game of hockey. Saying Crosby was a joke today while you sit there and back Briere and his antics (not much in this series) and stick shots over his years is funny.
Crosby can be frustrating and I am sure he is to opposing fans, but many other players in this league have pulled worse things. Crosby's perception gets blown out of perception because well he is Sidney Crosby.
There is a lot of disrespect in hockey in general. Look at what is going on in the playoffs so far. Crosby was not really the issue today as what he did happens in almost every game (at least intense game). Now Neal and Asham is a different story and should both be sat down for games.

Crosby is hated in Philly like Hartnell in Pittsburgh but to say he disrepects hockey is way out of left field. Dont confuse Philly's perception with the rest of the NHL. How soon Philly forgets when Hatcher knowcked out Crosby's teeth in his first game against the Flyers. Save the me the Flyers are holier than thou crap....

I agree with your premise about Crosby. I think he's the best player in the world by a decent margin when healthy and people (especially rivals) give him more crap than he deserves, in part because of that skill.
However, today, he acted like a childish punk. He instigated multiple altercations tonight (the glove incident and grabbing hartnell from behind both immediately jump to mind). Most nights I defend Sid around here and think he doesn't deserve what he gets. Today, no way. Kid was a punk and deserves hate today.

Yes it was childish, but like I said, those kinds of things happen practically every game (gamesmanship). He is not "disrespecting hockey" at all like the previous poster mentioned. I am not defending his childishness, only that he is passionate about the game and the Flyers got in his head and he deserves to play the game regardless of what the previous poster believes.

Some of you (not all) Flyers fans must have started watching hockey fairly recently or live in a complete homer bubble. The Flyers have fielded some of the dirtiest teams in the league in the last 20 years.
The Penguins have all the talent in the world and they are getting housed by a Flyers team who is playing way better...they are melting down and some stuff has happened as a result.
Other than the former Flyer, I don't have any real problem with any of the Pen's actions. Maybe the hair pulling...
