OT: NCAA Football 13

  • Will anyone be picking this up for the PS3. I was thinking that if enough of us get it that maybe we could do a Lions247 Online Dynasty.

    NOTE: I would like to get all your gamertags and PSN names. I am going to organize it so I want them to set everything up.

    How should we decide who gets Penn State lol? I can do a drawing and film it if you want? Also should we just pick lesser teams so no one picks an Alabama and just dominates.

  • Nope. The option still doesn't work. CPU defensive players still jump the snap 99% of the time and have unstoppable swim moves. And the default rosters are far far far too powerful.

    Example: DT's have the same agility, acceleration as 180lb 95 speed tb's. what that means is the dt stops on a dime, changes direction an tackles you from behind in a split second

    Yes, and I've seen a few NCAA 13 video's on youtube.

    This is essentially NCAA 12.5. The upgrades were just fluff.

  • the upgrades are in the passing system... they claim to have fixed the AI DBs and now QBs can throw touch passes

    I don't believe a word those assholes at EA say.

    The shit they've put out is just... meh. So bitter. No formation subs, pathetic fatigue system (where's season fatigue, or even true game fatigue - defenses get tired!!!), no true strategy (imagine being able to practice plays, defense, to get stat bonuses)...

    The recruiting is still fairly lame. Doesn't even remotely capture real recruiting. Computer AI running backs can't hit a hole to save their life.

    Yeah, I'm bitter. Not at you phila, just venting at EA.

    (I'll probably still buy it. sigh.)

    They had a special on ESPN about the game... The recruiting is different this year... So I will spend the first few weeks pissed off at the game... It looked a little better? The passing system did look better... The other stuff is the same... CFB is just my favorite thing to enjoy soooo I get this game religiously.. even if it blows.. hook line sinker

    You will want to get luvtothe9s rosters. Best their are for PS3 and he is continually updating them. I think he charged $20, but 1 person could buy them on here and then we can keep getting his updates through that persons locker.

    No other rosters compare to his. Plus, I think he is a PSU fan.

    Edit: My bad, you said free rosters. I think there is a Buckeye poster on the site that has decent free rosters.

  • I have both, but I play sports game primarily on PS3. Its hard to compare systems really when it comes to the cross platform games, especially sports games. The main problem is that most CS games are made for the 360 and ported to the PS3 for some reason. I would think they would do it vice versa since PS3 is superior graphically in terms of potential (Uncharted anyone?). They both have their positives.

    I just need CFB 13 since I skipped last year and I am pumped for the season this year. Last year I wasn't excited at all.
