Temple may end up with a quality RB for a year or two in Montel. I don't remember how many years he has left to play.
Sounds like he has one year of eligibility left. Last season was his senior year but he was granted a medical hardship waiver for one more year after sitting out some 7 games or so last season due to injury
why transfer? Unless he's one of these graduated play right away kids. I would hit the supplemental draft and hope someone takes a flyer on me with a 6th or 7th round pick.

He's was real productive at the beginning of his career, so if he can prove he's over his injuries he could stand to make himself a decent amount of money by playing more in college.
